In 2018, the Centre for Skills Development (CSD) was established with a primary mission: to provide women from all walks of life with opportunities to enhance their employability skills and prepare them for the professional world. The CSD Skill Hub is dedicated to fostering academic and professional excellence through a diverse array of teaching methods, a modern curriculum, and innovative, up-to-date learning experiences. CSD is built on the belief in holistic, skill-based education for women, aiming to nurture individual talents and encourage comprehensive personal development. At CSD, we offer skill-based training programs that focus on refining personal character traits and qualities, ultimately shaping our students into better individuals. This transformation also greatly benefits their social lives. Our need-based training courses and programs are designed to shape attitudes, develop habits, boost confidence, enhance personality, emphasize the importance of digital literacy, improve financial literacy and earning capabilities, and foster positive interpersonal interactions. The Skill Hub has been purposefully developed to meet the demands of various industries and enhance employability skills. Our programs cover an array of essential skills, including soft skills, effective communication, interview techniques, leadership, self-management, teamwork, time management, stress management, goal setting, decision making, business etiquette, and email etiquette. We also offer digital literacy programs such as Office 365, Advanced Excel, Tally Prime, and Digital Marketing. For those interested in financial literacy, we provide courses on wealth creation through the stock market, from basics to advanced levels. CSD also offers Corporate Training, one-day workshops, and Staff Training Programs for both teaching and non-teaching staff, further expanding our reach and impact.
