Full form of SHO
Full form of SHO is Station House Officer.
SHO is an officer and in-charge of a police station. He supervising the activities of police station and he is responsible for maintaining the law and order in his area.
He ranks upper SI (Sub-Inspector) and below a DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police). On his shoulder strap, rank badge of 3 stars and a red and blue stripped ribbon on it. Head Constable, Sub-inspector and Constables works as a team under SHO.
