CA stands for Chartered Accountant.

It is a highly qualified designation. The working areas of Chartered Accountants can be of business & finance, including taxation, auditing, financial and general management. And They are hired for all types of organizations such as private firms, public sectors etc. 

Few of them are employed  in public practice work and few of them are employed  in private practice work. and some are hired by government bodies organizations.

In India, Chartered Accountants are governed and managed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Currently,  As the record of 1st April 2019, the Institute had 2,91,698 members.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for CA?

  • Candidates who want to become CA should have completed their class 10th and 12th examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized education board.
  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate in all the subjects in any stream other than Commerce.
  • Applicants having Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks are also exempted from appearing in CA CPT.
  • To become eligible for CA CPT, Applicants should have to accomplished the eligibility criteria which laid down by the exam conducting authority, i.e. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

ICAI has dictated the basic eligibility norms for Applicants which must be accomplished for appearing for CA CPT examination. The eligibility requirements of CA CPT specifies the above conditions related to educational qualification, registration etc. In case any candidate fails to fulfill the CA CPT eligibility criteria, then, his/her candidature will be considered as disqualified.

  1. Stock Market– Strategic Financial Management is a subject in the curriculum and is taught at all levels of the course.
